Shocking but true. According to
StandUp.org a third of the students in our state do not receive their
high school diplomas. Not only does this result in tens of thousands of
unrealized dreams, our dropout rate contributes greatly to a diminished tax
base, an increase in social service costs, and a shortage of skilled
entry-level workers.
Our mission at CISP is to mitigate the factors that contribute to
the alarming drop out rate and to create environments where at-risk youth can
get the help they need to succeed in school and position themselves as
contributing members to society.
If you care about kids and want to help them
learn, succeed in school and prepare for life, we can use your help.
Help Make a Difference
Currently the CISP Network is looking for volunteers to:

work directly with students as a tutor or mentor

assist CISP staff to identify and deliver needed resources

serve on CISP's board of directors

make a financial contribution
